Halloween Feet Loaf Recipe
For a spooky Halloween dinner party, you’ll need an equally spooky dish: Halloween Feet Loaf! Made with a mixture of ground beef, herbs and breadcrumbs, it’s then shaped into two feet and ten toes, complete with onion toenails and bloody ketchup! It might not sound appetizing, but it sure does taste scarily good.
Ingredients
- 900g ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups panko brumbs
- 2 tbsps. of beef gravy granules
- 1/2 tsp pepper freshly cracked
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 cup ketchup
Accessories:
METHOD
1. Preheat your Broil King BBQ to 375 F/190 C.
2. In large bowl whisk together eggs, gravy granules, pepper, dry mustard, and onion powder. Mix in beef and panko crumbs until combined and be careful not to over mix.
3. Divide the mixture in half and place onto a parchment lined Broil King Stainless Roasting Pan. Form each half into a foot shape like in the pictures above.
4. Cut a thick slice of the onion and using one onion ring, cut toenail shapes for each toe.
5. Slice two small onion rings and place onto the top of the ankle part (creating a stump). Spoon on a little ketchup over each onion ring and spread a little so some of it will drip down the sides.
6. Cook on your grill for 40-50 minutes or until centre is cooked through.
7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
